As you see this class is most part practical, and so it may require a good amount of time. You know, practice makes perfection ;)

You know allready that all the work is going to be done in groups , just a reminder: you can change partner anytime you want to, but not while working on a project. I hope the group-working thing will allow you to work with people from all over the world, hope you find this interesting too. Besides, comic creation isn´t just about grabbing a story and drawing it in a paper. I expect you to communicate and work togheter with your partner , that´s the principal reason of the creation of this class. So try passing troght some kind of messenger or thought the irc or e-mail the work both of you are doing, so all of the working members of a team knows how´s going the project and can soem ideas, that´s the great point if this working way, in my opinion.

You all are invited to join the class irc channel #comicworkshop , you may use it as a place to contact your fellow classmates

And listen, you don´t have to be a drawing-master to join the class,evryone is invited, the only thing you need is time to spend with a pencil in your hand, or thinking a story.

The initial theorical part will be teached as a half term class (ending febrary the 28th) and during this time you´ll be practicising different tipes of drawing, the Black and white Style and the colour one. You may think at a start that this is too much information, but i remind you that it´s a practical class, what means i´m not going to do any theorical exam. All this theory is only information for you.

From then on you´ll be able to develop your favourite style in comic and the lessons will be some of the suggested ones (i ask you again to send me any submission on new ideas for lessons till december, so i know what you´d like to learn)

I have tought that 2 weeks per project should be enought time, but if most of you find it´s really very little time then we´ll set the new class-calendar. Remember that there´s only 1 mandatory project every 2 months. If we follow the original calendar (this one below) we are going to do 15 comics, so you can both start a new story each time or divide a long story into parts.

Ass you see below the second half-term don´t have any theorical parts, the point is that i ask you all to give me subbmission on wat you like to learn so i´ll select some of them to make the lessons. You can post these ideas in a specific part of the forum: I´ll accep these ideas only from now till december.

From here on the lessons will be settled in the future
